About Dala Rooster
National Tourism Award Winner, Best Homestay in Panchgani
Dala Rooster is a bungalow that was built in Panchgani in 2005 with an intention to move there for good. A lot of thought and effort was put in for the construction by us, our friends and family members. However, for one reason or the other, conditions did not permit us to move out of Pune.
Hence the bungalow continued to be used by family and friends as a holiday destination. In between, it was rented out to Voltas for almost three years as their senior management's holiday home.
The bungalow is situated on a land of 12,600 sq. ft., facing the valley. In the monsoons, you can see unobstructed views of the Bhilar waterfalls along with other smaller ones in the vicinity.

Dala Rooster features seven bedrooms, including the Cockerel Cottage, a well-equipped kitchen, dining and living areas, a glass-enclosed gazebo and an open wooden deck. These spaces overlook the valley, Bhilar Waterfalls and Mahu Dam. The dining room connects to the gazebo and deck through a bridge, with additional access from the garden.
